Ever wondered why celebrities possess an orb-like glow? It’s time to talk about Profhilo treatment.

A hyaluronic acid treatment, Profhilo is the key to plump, juicy skin, and a deliciously hydrated complexion. But why is Profhilo our favourite winter treatment? Here’s everything you need to know about this season’s hottest treatment.
What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is an injectable skin treatment that uses high concentrations of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) to hydrate the skin from within and stimulate collagen production. Unlike other treatments that simply mask the problem, Profhilo works by nourishing the dermal cells in your skin and restoring firmness and elasticity for a healthier complexion.
With its unique bio-remodelling properties, Profhilo can also improve skin tone, texture, elasticity, firmness, and radiance of the skin without changing volume or the shape of the face. It not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue.
Comprising two types of hyaluronic acid in very high concentrations, little drops are injected into the skin, and left to dissolve over about 12 hours, filling up fine lines and wrinkles and improving the overall skin texture.

Profhilo Winter Treatment: A Hydration Boost For Your Skin
The primary cause of dry, dull winter skin is lack of hydration. The cold weather strips away the natural oils from your skin leaving it dehydrated and lifeless. This is where Profhilo comes into play.
How long does Profhilo treatment last?
Generally speaking I recommend a course of two treatments, a month apart, with effects lasting for up to 12 months.
Is Profhilo better than fillers?
While Profhilo treatment is injectable, it doesn’t affect the contours of the face like fillers. Fillers are made to correct the loss of volume, define the shapes of the face or to lift, Profhilo is made to improve the quality of skin which does not give extra volume at all.
Does Profhilo really work?
Absolutely it does! Increasingly popular among celebrities due to its natural effects, it’s a great entry point for those looking to experiment with tweakments without wanting to change too much.
What are the side effects of Profhilo?
Profhilo is a very safe treatment with few risks. However it can be a bit stingy and you might bruise and/or swell very slightly.
How often can you have Profhilo?
After a two-part course, it is recommended to wait between six months to a year before another treatment.
How much is Profhilo?
Profhilo is £275 per treatment session (2 procedures required for a full course) or £550 for a full course.

I’m always happy to answer questions you have about any of the treatments on offer at Aesthetically Refined or alternatively book in for a complimentary consultation for a more in depth discussion.
Love,
